Your attention please! EcoAction Community Funding Program has moved to one deadline per year. The new deadline for submission of proposals is November 1st of each year. Please make sure your proposal for projects starting in 2009 are submitted on, or before, November 1st, 2008.
Funding is available through the EcoAction Community Funding Program for projects that address Environment Canada’s priority issues of Clean Air and Climate Change, Clean Water, and Nature. At this time, funding priority may be given to eligible projects that address Clean Air and Climate Change issues.

The Green Source is a resource guide prepared by Environment Canada that will help you locate numerous sources of funding for environmental projects. It includes information on public and private sector programs and organizations that provide financial assistance, labour costs or in-kind donations to community groups.
The Green Source is available in searchable database format, or in hard copy format available from the Environment Canada regional office serving your area.
If you know a source of funding for environmental projects that is not currently listed in the Green Source, please send your suggestion to: ecoaction@ec.gc.ca.
