AltaLink Works to Close Electricity Transmission Infrastructure Gap

According to the Alberta Electric System Operator, Alberta's non-profit, independent electricity transmission planner, more than 20 years have passed without significant reinforcement in the backbone of Alberta's transmission system. AltaLink continues to focus its investment on closing Alberta's growing transmission infrastructure gap.

DBRS Confirms AltaLink, L.P.’s Credit Rating; Changes Trend from Stable to Negative

On September 18, 2008, DBRS issued a news release confirming AltaLink, L.P.'s (ALP) rating for its Senior Secured Bonds and Medium-Term Notes at "A", and changed the trend to negative from stable. AltaLink's Commercial Paper rating was confirmed at R-1 (low), with the trend remaining stable.
