Welcome to Total E & P Canada

Alberta Ecotrust is pleased to welcome Total E& P Canada as a Visionary Partner as of June 1. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Total SA based in Paris, France, Total E&P Canada has significant interests in the Alberta oil sands that will provide mining, in-situ production and upgrading opportunities. Total’s investment of $30,000 a year for the next three years will help Alberta Ecotrust meet the increasing need for funds from the environmental NGO community. We’re thrilled to welcome Karim Zariffa, CSR & Sustainable Development Advisor back to the Grant Review Committee having previously participated with another partner organization.  Welcome Karim and Total!

Congratulations Peace Parkland Naturalists

The small environmental organization

won Alberta Ecotrusts's $15,000

'gratitude grant' draw on April 24th.

Peace Parkland is currently

working towards the purchase of a

90-acre parcel of native grassland

adjacent to Kleskun Hill Natural Area near Grande Prairie. They hope to secure the land by next year.
