Welcome to Associated Designers of Canada!

Associated Designers of Canada (ADC) is a national member-based non-profit arts service organization with a mandate to promote and protect the interests of Canada’s professional set, costume, lighting and sound designers working within the performing arts throughout Canada.

Founded in 1965, ADC plays an important advocacy role in protecting the interests of its membership. We are federally certified to represent performing arts designers across Canada (with limitations in the Province of Quebec) and are recognized by the Professional Association of Canadian Theatre’s as the official negotiating body for designers in Canada.
