Annual General Meeting with guest speaker John Hamilton – Vice President, responsible for WestJet Vacations and Specialty Sales
For the travel and hospitality industry, the internet is both a blessing and a curse. On the positive side, the internet enables us to reach a wider market and empowers our customers to make their reservations directly. On the negative side, the internet turns our businesses into a commodity so we have to make more and more noise just to be heard. At WestJet Vacations, we are trying to move our business from a commodity to an experience based business. What does this mean and how can you accomplish this?
