Our Annual One Day Rain Barrel Sale was a great success!
Thank you to everyone who came out and bought a rain barrel on April 29th. We sold 1142 rain barrels in two hours! This was the most successful sale in our history.
Our thanks to all the volunteers who helped us throughout the day and also to the Single Volunteers of Calgary. It truly made a difference.
We want to thank the City of Calgary for providing the space at the Brentwood and Anderson LRT stations, the Calgary Co-op on Richmond Road for letting us set up in their parking lot, to Starbucks for providing refreshments to the staff and volunteers at each site, the Calgary Area Outdoor Council for the tents and to the Calgary Attendance Centre Community Service Crew for assisting with loading and unloading rain barrels prior to the event. All of this wonderful support made for an excellent day.
If there is anyone who missed our sale and would like to buy a rain barrel please visit our EcoStore. There are still some available.
