 NEW CCA Compost Hotline 998-8846

The CCA is pleased to announce the launch of the CCA Compost Hotline! Clean Calgary Association is excited to expand its environmental services to Calgarians and provide a forum for citizens to ask that burning composting question and get an answer. The CCA Compost Hotline is a service of the Waste Wise Community Outreach Program, which focuses on supporting residential composting endeavors. Call the CCA Compost hotline with all your composting questions, troubles and success stories. Your questions and stories are very important to us, if we do not answer please leave a message and a CCA staff or volunteer Master Composter will phone you back as soon as they can. Dear Ashley,

My husband and I have a neighbour who washes his car at home at least twice a week throughout the summer and it makes my skin crawl to see all the water and soap going into the storm drain. I’m wondering what I could say to him without causing a big ruckus. It seems like a terrible waste, so any advice you might have would be greatly appreciated.
