 Locally Grown, Chemical-free Christmas Trees – Available for a limited time.
In response to popular demand, Clean Calgary Association will again this year supply a limited number of locally grown, pesticide- and fertilizer-free Christmas trees. The trees are lodgepole pine, which is a tall, slender evergreen with a straight trunk. The Alberta Junior Forest Wardens plant 10 trees for each one cut.

We here at Clean Calgary Association have been very lucky recently! After months of searching throughout the city, we found a fantastic cleaning service that in addition to doing an amazing job of cleaning has also filled the much needed void for green cleaning services in Calgary.

I’ve heard about “green” funerals and “green” cemeteries. Are there any green cemeteries in Calgary?

The journal, British Archeology, writes that funeral rites are as old as civilization itself, dating back some 300,000 years. Early evidence suggests that Neanderthals, living in Wales, deliberately placed dead bodies in deep recesses some 225,000 years ago. Today, the funerary customs used to mark a person’s death are amazingly diverse, reflecting the many beliefs and customs of people around the world.
