Bentall LP becomes Clean Calgary Association’s first platinum sponsor!

Bentall LP has been working with Clean Calgary Association over the past two years. Their specific focus is with the Commercial Environmental Services program to conduct Waste Measurement Toolkit Assessments at their facilities. In 2009 Bentall LP increased their involvement and became Clean Calgary Association’s first platinum sponsor.

Bentall LP came forward and got involved in the pilot stages of the waste assessments and have been expanding the number of facilities that are involved. Bentall LP has benchmarked their recycling rate as 48% from an average of six buildings, a commendable rate.

Q:

Dear Ashley,

I recently watched a clip on Global television that suggested that energy saving bulbs were unsafe. I can’t recall all of the details but I’m wondering what your take is on the whole issue. Should we be getting rid of the energy saving bulbs or is this just another scare tactic to keep everyone guessing?
