Proud to Partner for Education – Two New Courses!
 
We are so pleased to be able to offer more courses to Calgarians through partnerships with other great, local organizations. Our Master Bow Stewards  course, starting April 22, is being held in partnership with other concerned water nonprofits – the Centre for Affordable Water Sanitation Technology (CAWST) and Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society Southern Alberta  (CPAWS). Our second great partner is Ravis Sustainable, who we have partnered with for a 12 hour Introduction to Permaculture course starting June 11.

Earth Day April 22, 2009     

Earth Day is just around the corner, but it’s not too late to have an Earth Day event or activity.

Clean Calgary Association is involved in many Earth Day events and activities this year. We will be delivering presentations, attending corporate trade shows or fairs and promoting our “Kiss your Household Cleaners Goodbye” campaign in our EcoStore, just to name a few.

If you’re still organizing your Earth Day event or activity, Clean Calgary Association has lots of great ideas for you.

No Scents Makes Good Sense

My workplace recently adopted a fragrance-free policy and while I don’t disagree with it, I’m wondering what it is exactly that causes some people to react to fragrances. I’d like to know your thoughts.
