School Wide Composting Program

Kasian provides a boost to School Wide composting

We would like to extend a special thanks to Kaisan Architecture Interior and Design Ltd for sponsoring two schools for the 2009/10 school wide composting program and for helping to build 13 wooden compost bins!

The support of companies like Kasian ensures that schools who could not otherwise participate in Clean Calgary’s School Wide Composting Program are able to do so. A total of eight schools will now be able to participate in next years program. If you are interested in sponsoring a school, please contact Lindsay.

 Ask Ashley

Organic on a Budget

Q:

Dear Ashley,

Organic food is something that I try to buy, especially when it comes to things like milk, meat and peaches, but I cannot always justify spending 2 or 3 times more for the organic equivalent. Money can be tight and I’m wondering if you have any tips on saving money on organic foods?

Sharon
