eCampusAlberta registrations soar past 12,900Registrations in courses offered through eCampusAlberta soared to an all-time high in 2009/10, reaching 12,960 and surpassing the year’s target of 10,000 by nearly 3,000. Registrations are up 38 per cent over the previous year’s 9,414, the sixth consecutive year of annual growth of 29 per cent or more. Lewis, who is a founding and current member of the eCampusAlberta board was awarded her degree at a convocation ceremony held June 11 at the university. More Northern Lakes’ online Power Engineering program accommodates working studentsIn November 2009, Northern Lakes College began offering its Power Engineering 4th Class certificate program through eCampusAlberta. In March of this year, the college added the 5th Class certificate program to its online lineup. Offering the programs online grew out of student demand for online lectures. More |
