Office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. On weekdays when performances occur, our office hours are 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Statutory Holidays. [back to top]

Where do I pick up my tickets?
Pre-purchased tickets may be collected from the following locations:
Alberta Ballet Box Office
The Box Office is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and on performance days 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The Box Office is closed Saturday, Sunday and Statutory Holidays.
The Jubilee Auditoria (one hour before the performance) The Alberta Ballet Box Office will be open in the lobby of the Auditoria on performance days only to support ticket pickup, with lobby doors opening at:
Evening Performances: 6:30pm
Matinee Performances: 1:00pm Alberta Ballet Box Offices are not affiliated with the Ticketmaster outlets at the Auditoria.

Where do the performances take place?
Calgary performances are at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorum. (map)

RegularEvening performances commence at 7:30 pm.
Regular Matinee performances commence at 2:00 pm.
NEW: The Nutcracker performances now start at 7:00pm (evening) and 1:30pm (matinee)

How long are the performances?
Performances are approximately two hours including one intermission. Please check with our Box Office for confirmation.

Where can I park when I come to see a performance?
Parking is available at both venue locations for $6. Please arrive early for parking, as the lot can get very busy and slow just before the show begins. [back to top]
Is there a Dress Code?
We do not have a dress code. Most of our patrons dress in casual business attire. [back to top]
I've lost my tickets! What do I do?
If you misplace your tickets, contact the box office to re-print them. Tickets can be reprinted for you at the venue Box Office one hour prior to your ticketed performance. [back to top]
Can I exchange my tickets for another night or performance?
This service is reserved for subscribers only. To exchange your tickets for another performance, return your original ticket(s) to the Box Office no later than two (2) business days prior to your performance date. Exchanges must be made in person at either Box Office location or via mail or fax. (See above for fax numbers.) When shipping tickets for exchange, please write VOID across the tickets. An exchange fee of $2 per ticket will apply. Subscribers may exchange ticket(s) within the same production. Exchanges are subject to availability. [back to top]
Do I have to purchase a ticket for my infant?
Due to the Auditorium Fire Protection Policy, infants accompanying their parents must possess a valid child’s ticket for the performance. This applies whether the infant is seated on their parents lap or in their own seat. [back to top]
What happens if I arrive late to the ballet?
Latecomers will not be seated after the dancers take their positions on stage. Alternative seating may be arranged until the first intermission at the discretion of the Auditorium. [back to top]
Can I return my ticket for a refund?

Adult: $102 - $25
Child (12 years and under): $102 - $24
Student (with valid Student ID) and Senior (65+): $102 - $25

Does Alberta Ballet accomodate wheelchairs?
Wheelchair Seating is available at the venue, and must be booked by calling the Box Office. Seating is available in Sections A, B and C. [back to top]
Can I purchase rush tickets to the ballet?
Rush tickets are only available for purchase and are subject to availability one hour prior to the performance, at the Auditoria.
Rush tickets are limited to Students and Seniors with valid ID.
Rush Ticket Pricing:
Regular performances: (selected seating sections): $17
The Nutcracker (selected seating sections): $20
Is there a student discount on tickets?
LiveRush Students (Calgary only):
To purchase your tickets at a discount, you must be enrolled as a full-time student and be a member of LiveRush. When purchasing, you must present your LiveRush card and valid student ID to be eligible for the discount. To obtain your LiveRush ID number and for more information, visit www.LiveRush.com Edmonton Students:
Edmonton students are not required to be a member of LiveRush as the program does not exist in your city. You may arrive one hour before the performance and present your Student ID to get the student discount.
NEW THIS YEAR! Rush Students & Seniors may now purchase their tickets day of the performance in addition to 1 hour prior to the performance. Student/Senior ID must be shown at time of purchase. Is there a Senior's Discount on tickets?
Seniors must be at least 65 years old to be eligible for the discount. ID will be required. This discount is only available as rush seating one hour before the performance.
