Northern Tights

The Northern Tights Tour is an outreach initiative that takes the ballet on the road. Every spring, Alberta Ballet travels to schools in Edmonton and Northern Alberta where dancers demonstrate the beauty and artistry of ballet to student audiences. This program gives students the opportunity to learn about ballet and watch a live performance which many would not otherwise have the chance to see.

Alberta Ballet and its sponsors are proud to share the beauty, feeling, and athleticism of ballet, as well as help develop an appreciation of all art forms to children who might not otherwise have this opportunity.
