How easily can I get off a Mailing List?
All you need to do to remove yourself from a mailing list is click on the Unsubscribe button, un-check any of the mailing lists and click Save Subscriptions. It’s that easy.
You can remove yourself from either a specific mailing list or permanently remove yourself from all mailing lists.
Remove me from a mailing list
By clicking on the Unsubscribe button, you can un-check any of the mailing lists and click Save Subscriptions. This will remove you from those particular mailing lists. If you check any mailing lists that were not already checked, you will be added to the selected mailing lists.
Remove me from ALL mailing lists
If you click Remove Me Permanently, you will be removed from all of our mailing lists and will no longer receive communications from us. If in the future, if you would like to be added to a mailing list(s), all you need to do is click on the subscribe button.
How do I know that I am removed from a mailing list?
You will receive an email guaranteeing your removal from the specified mailing list. Also included in the email is a link to re-subscribe if you wish to subscribe at a later date.
Q. What do you mean by "permanently removed"?
A. This means that your email address will be specially marked in our database and will never be included in any future mailings unless initiated by you. However, in certain cases you may still receive emails from us. An example of this might be if you fill out a form on our web site and we send you an email confirmation of your submission.
Q. What if I want to come back and re-subscribe to your mailing lists at a later date?
A. You can come back anytime to our web site and click on our subscribe button. You will be asked for your email address and you will be presented with a list of our mailing lists that you can re-subscribe to.
Q. But couldn't you just use that feature to re-add me back to your mailing lists?
A. No, we cannot do that and neither can anyone else. This is because once you visit our subscribe page and choose which mailing lists you want to belong to, you will be sent an email requesting that you confirm your list selections. That email will contain a unique link that identifies you to our system. Once you click on that link in your email program, you are giving us permission to put you back onto the mailing lists you have chosen. Only you have access to that unique link in your own email program.
Q. How soon do I get removed from these mailing list(s)?
A. You will be removed from the mailing list(s) as soon as you click on either the ‘Save Subscriptions’ button or the ‘Remove Me Permanently’ button.
Q. From the permission request, what happens if I don’t click on any of the links, meaning I don’t click on either the Unsubscribe button or the Confirm Permission button?
A. By not clicking on either button, you are not letting the company know whether you would like to keep receiving communication from them or not. Therefore, you will not receive any more emails from the company, they will assume you are not interested in any communications.
