Condo Owners Association Alberta Chapter
A small group of industry specialists are wanting to charter an Alberta Chapter of the Condo Owners Association Ontario organization. We need Condo Owners who would be interested in assisting with the founding of the Alberta Chapter. We also need owners to become members of the Condo Owners Association of Alberta. The intent is to model the Alberta Chapter after the Ontario Chapter, which has been extremely successful in lobbying government, and providing services for condo owners, etc. For information on the COA visit their website at www.coaontario.com. NO-WAITING time document review ... The "Condominium Viability Audit & Rating" is available and ready to order for the condominiums that have joined the CVA & Rating program. Go to the "STORE" link to check if an CVA & R is available for the condo you want to have reviewed. The CVA is updated as the condo information changes, keeping this Report current. Note: due to the comprehensive documentation that the CVA is based on, once an CVA is available we will not provide a standard document review for that condo project. About the CVA ...
Condo-Check offers a NEW service to CONDO BOARDS in Alberta. The Condominium Viability Audit & Rating (CVA & R).
The CVA is a comprehensive review of the operation of a condominium, completed in collaboration with the Board of Directors. The findings are then scored (based on a proprietary system developed by a team of industry experts), giving the buyers, lenders and owners the security of knowing how the condominium corporation is functioning. At Condo-Check we respect that the function of the condominium has a direct impact on the property value as well as the peace of mind of the "shareholders" in a condominium project.
The CVA is based on a visit to the site, reviewing a minimum of two years documented history and having our questions responded to directly by the board of directors and the property manager. The condominium shares in the revenue generated by the sale of the CVA & R Report to buyers.
